In order to allow non-IT users to take advantage of the benefits of sensor and actuator integration and to realize scenarios like the one described above, MERCURY will need to meet a number of requirements. Which are User Interface and User Model, Descriptions and Discovery of Sensors, Services and Actuators, Rights Management and Sensor Integration.
